The Little Miracles Trust Fund was created to do just that…provide a “little miracle” to any person or cause that needs a helping hand!
It’s a Stingray Edmonton initiative that has been around for over 20 years. This is a resource for us to raise money not just for one cause, but anything that is brought to our attention that could use a “Little Miracle”. Through the Little Miracles Trust Fund, we have been able to help numerous initiatives in Alberta, including the Stollery Children’s Hospital Music Therapy Program, helping displaced families from the 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfires, and funding the construction of local parks.
In 2018, K-97 has supported the following charities/groups via the Little Miracles Trust Fund:
-$500 towards the St. Albert Station #2 Roof Top Camp-Out Campaign for Muscular Dystrophy
-$500 towards the Fight a Monster campaign, supporting Cancer Research
-$1,500 towards the Hair MassACure, supporting Cancer Research
-$2,500 towards the Grande Trunk Braves Hockey Club
-$5,000 towards the Humboldt Broncos Go Fund Me Page
Stayed tuned to for how you can help out the next “Little Miracle”!
