Weekdays: 5:30am – 9:00am
I grew up on the streets of Cambridge Ontario. At the age of 9, my parents left me in a Dodge Dynasty while we were on vacation and never came back. I spent that summer camping in the woods and playing games by myself living off discarded food left behind from tourists in campsites. While it sounds horrible I really had a great time. Eventually, I was picked up by child services and bounced between many foster homes. It was hell, and often I would run away. All I wanted in life was a cool car and to feel like I belonged somewhere.
I eventually met a good friend and we tried to start a number of failed businesses, I really thought after we found that pristine Shop-Vac wet/dry vacuum we would have made it big in the business world. In hindsight maybe our company slogan wasn’t the best “Give us a call and we’ll suck you clean and dry.” We got lots of calls but none for at home vacuuming.
Anyway, after that, I ended up becoming a janitor at a radio station and one day they needed a story so they put me on air and I told them everything about me. It blasted me into stardom and I met the love of my life from many years back and we got married and had kids.
So there you have it, that’s my bio. I hate doing these things and my boss made me write one but I doubt he will read it so if you’re actually still reading this I made this up and stole half the plot from Joe Dirt.
Goals: “To be successful enough to wear jogging pants to work and nobody can say a damn thing”
Accomplishments: “I once had a McDonald’s platinum card that staff get to save you 50% off. I didn’t even work there.”
Education: “I can’t spell, I lit a science room ceiling on fire, I nearly cut my finger off in shop class and I failed a college class three times in a row while in radio broadcasting. Somehow I still have to post-secondary diplomas“
