After joining Pete Agnew's band "The Shadettes" in 1968, the group changed their name to Nazareth in 1970, touring with Deep Purple before releasing their first big hit "This Flight Tonight". It was from this smash single that Nazareth became the first foreign band to tour Canada coast-to-coast that wasn't part of a North American tour, and were told they had sold out faster than the Elvis show that had recently come through! Over five decades, thousands of concerts, and 23 gold, silver and platinum-selling albums later, they're playing their iconic hits like, "Love Hurts," "Not Fakin' It," and "Hair of the Dog," on their Canadian Farewell Tour.
