Canadian Rock & Roll royalty Tom Cochrane is set to take over The Flair Airlines Hangar at the Edmonton EXPO Centre this November, along with Trooper, Sass Jordan, and the Centre for Arts & Music Student Band!

Over the course of his 50-year-career, Tom Cochrane has achieved a level of success known to few recording artists. From a folk-based singer/songwriter playing coffeehouses in early ’70’s Toronto, to joining forces with Red Rider in 1978, to an illustrious solo career, Tom has 21 albums, 8 JUNO Awards, and is a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee, both with Red Rider and as a solo artist. His legacy as a Canadian icon has been cemented with a star on Canada`s Walk of Fame and a 322 km section of Manitoba`s provincial highway named “Tom Cochrane`s Life Is A Highway”.

Joining Cochrane will be one of Canada’s top five selling bands of all time and 2023 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees, Trooper, along with the pioneer of female-fronted rock, Sass Jordan, known for her powerful, gritty, blues-infused rock & roll and crowd-pleasing performances.

All proceeds from the event go to the Rock & Roll Society of Edmonton’s Centre for Arts & Music, providing after-school music programs and opportunities for at-risk youth in the community. These kids gain self-esteem, respect and self-confidence by learning to write songs, play instruments, and perform together on-stage, many at Rockfest itself! Proceeds also go to the Farmfair International Junior Futurity Show, supporting junior exhibitors who will be tomorrow’s agriculture leaders.
